Person-Centred
You are always at the heart of the process. I may suggest, invite, or gently challenge you to explore certain thoughts or experiences, but the work is always about you and your needs. My role is to facilitate reflection, help you make connections, and support you in making sense of your experiences and your sense of self so that lasting change becomes possible. While my practice is grounded in person-centred values, I also draw on integrative influences when helpful, bringing in different perspectives or techniques to best support your journey.

Trauma-Informed
I understand and work sensitively with the impact of trauma on the body, mind, and relationships. Safety and stability are key, and I aim to create the right conditions for healing, growth, and resilience to unfold at your own pace. I also understand how certain experiences can profoundly shape the way we feel about ourselves, the world around us, and our relationships with others. I always hold these in mind throughout our work together.
Relational
I believe the therapeutic relationship itself can be a powerful place of growth. The way we relate within therapy often mirrors patterns in the outside world, and exploring this can offer valuable insight. Together, we can use the safety of the relationship to notice and reflect on these dynamics, and open up new ways of connecting with yourself and others.

Anti-Oppressive & Feminist
I understand mental health not only in terms of personal history and relationships but also through a wider social lens. Systems such as sexism, racism, homophobia, and other forms of inequality deeply influence how we see ourselves, the world, and what choices feel possible. Holding this awareness, I aim to offer a space where these realities are acknowledged, where your experiences are validated, and where your voice can be heard and empowered.
