Dedication

Yiayia Anna

In Loving Memory

This practice is dedicated to my beloved grandmother, Anna.

She was a woman of kindness, resilience, and quiet strength, whose unwavering faith and love shaped all those around her. She spent most of her life in our village, where her home and heart were always open - a place of warmth, nourishment, and belonging.

I carry with me the memory of her gentle presence, her stories, her love, and the care she put into even the simplest of things, like making a meal. Her compassion and resilience continue to guide me in my work, inspiring me to support others with the same dedication and humanity that she lived by.

Her home, our home, in the village is still a home because of the love and spirit she poured into it.

This practice is for her, and for women everywhere who bore their struggles quietly, finding strength in the only way they could, by carrying on.

“What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” – Helen Keller
