I am a bilingual counsellor and psychotherapist with Greek origins.
I initially studied English Literature at the American College of Greece before working as a teacher of English as a second language. My passion for social justice and supporting people through adversity later led me to Scotland, where I completed an MSc in Sex, Gender and Violence and a Post graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
For over 7 years, my work has been dedicated to counselling and supporting people through trauma and adversity, with particular specialisation in working with survivors of sexual and gender-based violence, childhood adversity, and other forms of interpersonal trauma. I have gained extensive experience within specialist trauma services, community organisations and charities which have shaped and enriched my practice. I have also carried out research on sex trafficking and worked with sex workers and survivors of exploitation - experiences that bring depth and insight to the way I work today. I am currently undertaking specialist training in Couples & Relationship Therapy, due to complete in 2026.

Alongside this, I have worked extensively in higher education settings, supporting young adults and international students. Being bilingual and an expat myself, I have a deep understanding of the challenges of living or studying abroad, navigating cultural transitions, and exploring questions of identity and belonging.

My approach is person-centred at its core, with integrative, trauma-informed, and relational elements. I work from an anti-oppressive, feminist perspective, recognising that our struggles are not only shaped by personal history and relationships but also by wider systems such as sexism, racism, homophobia, and other forms of inequality.

I bring compassion, honesty, and curiosity into my work, and I believe that healing and growth are possible even after the most painful experiences. At the heart of my practice is a warm, accepting and authentic space, where you can feel safe to explore and move toward meaningful change. I have seen people rise from the most difficult circumstances when given the right environment and I put my heart and soul into offering that space. For me, this is more than a profession; it is both my purpose and my art.
